“Alright, let’s do this ! ❤”

The sun was shining bright above the peaceful pathway, which will soon turn into a cute battlefield. Two trainers are facing each other at a distance, making room for their Pokémon to make their entrance.

Reaching for her Pokéball inside her handbag, the colorful trainer Priscilla was bouncing with excitation. She proceeds to throw her Pokéball high in the air with her two hands.

“Come on Eevee, enter the scene !”

The Pokeball opens to reveal the brown puppy-like Pokémon, who lands on the road with grace. Just like the trainer, Eevee looks motivated and ready to take on anyone.

Facing the energetic duo is Marco, a lone trainer who looked older and slightly bored. With his hands already in his hoodie’s pocket, he takes his Pokéball and throws it with a weak movement.

“Bellossom.”

Out of the Pokéball lands the dancer look-alike Pokémon. Despite its colorful appearance, Bellossom had a serious battle stance, but quickly lost its edge upon looking at its adorable opponent. Bellossom glared at its trainer from the corner of an eye, to which Marco replied with a lazy sigh. “I know, I know. Just bear with it.”

Marco and Bellossom were equally as annoyed by the situation, but rules are rules. When two trainers cross paths, it’s time to duel. Or something like that. In the meantime, Priscilla took the opportunity to make the first move.

“Ladies first ! ❤ Use Quick Attack !”

As soon as Priscilla gives the order, Eevee charges as fast as it can and delivers a headbutt at Bellossom, which takes the hit without flinching and wards off Eevee back to a distance with its hand. The Evolution Pokemon lands with a flip and smirks, ready for more action.

“Awesome Eevee-dear ! Now follow-up with an Iron Tail ! ❤”

Eevee takes a few steps forward and leaps in the air while making its tail as hard as steel. As Eevee approaches its target, Bellossom remains unfazed, observing, waiting.

“Leaf Blade.”

With a quick iaido-like movement, Bellossom draws a lime green blade out of nowhere and strikes the defenseless Eevee at full force. In an instant, the poor Pokémon was sent a few meters off the road, into a nearby tree where it made a crashing reception, before landing on the ground unconscious.

“E… Eevee…?”

Eevee was still twitching from the shock, but took too much damage to move, let alone continue fighting. Its trainer Priscilla could not move either, left with an astounded expression, she struggled to maintain her composure and was on the verge of tears. The match was seemingly over.

Bellossom returns to its trainer, who begins walking away without showing empathy or remorse. Hands back to his pocket, Marco warns his adversary one last time.

“We are done here. Don’t challenge me again.”
